Our historical "Ottoman" suite is about 450 years old. It was built directly onto a rock base and strands of rock can be seen in the sitting room walls. The main bedroom was once used as a kitchen with a tandir oven outside where there is a seating area now. At another time it was home to carpet weavers and the holes in the wall made for their looms, although filled in, can still be seen. The bedroom is so large there is plenty room for a couple of armchairs, and a few steps lead down to the bathroom and cosy sitting room with its small couch and stone desk.
